You can withdraw your consent at any time. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already taken place lawfully, and it does not stop essential order or service emails where those are needed.

We use Klaviyo as our email marketing service provider.

7. Shopify

We use Shopify to run our ecommerce functions, including products, the basket, checkout, orders, customer records and customer accounts. Personal information may be processed by Shopify in connection with those services. Shopify is a service provider to VouchForYa and does not own or control our business.

You can read Shopify's privacy information at shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Klaviyo may process:

  • your email address
  • your marketing consent and subscription status
  • marketing engagement such as opens and clicks, where enabled
  • relevant purchase and customer information synchronised from Shopify, where applicable

This is used for email marketing, automated emails, segmentation and understanding how our marketing performs.

10. Service providers and sharing

We share personal information only where it is necessary, with providers such as:

  • Shopify
  • Klaviyo
  • payment processors
  • shipping and delivery providers
  • website hosting and technical service providers

We do not sell your personal information.

11. International data transfers

Some of the technology and service providers we use may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable UK data protection law where those are needed.

12. Data retention

Order, account and transaction information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary for fulfilment, customer service, legal, tax, accounting and fraud prevention purposes.

Marketing information is kept while you remain subscribed, and afterwards where needed to maintain unsubscribe and suppression records.

Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to our legal obligations.

13. Cookies and similar technologies

The website and the service providers we use may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, basket and session features, analytics, and marketing measurement where these are enabled.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we introduce non essential tracking in future, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent mechanism.
